How do I find my photos from a wedding?

Short answer
Join the event with its QR code and take a selfie on the "Find Me" screen. A 128-number face signature is computed on your phone, compared with the faces in the event photos, and your photos are shown in two groups, "sure" and "maybe". The selfie image never leaves your phone.
How it works
- Face detection: faces in event photos are found with the open-source YuNet model.
- Face signature: each face becomes a 128-number signature with the open-source SFace model. A signature is not a photo and can't be used to redraw the face.
- Comparison: your selfie signature is compared with every face in the event; photos above the similarity threshold are shown to you.
How accurate is it?
We tuned the thresholds on a real wedding's photos (26 September 2026, 220 photos, 1,603 faces):

Each face goes to the guest it resembles most, so the bride's photos don't leak into the results of a guest who looks a bit like her. All the wedding's numbers: real wedding data.
For better results
- Take the selfie in good light, facing the camera.
- Add more than one selfie (with and without glasses, different angles).
- If the photographer uploads later, open the screen again; new photos are searched.
Frequently asked questions
Is my selfie uploaded?
No. The face signature is computed in your phone's browser and only 128 numbers reach the server. Browser and server signatures of the same face agree at 0.9987 similarity.
Can it confuse me with someone else?
With very small, blurry or side-on faces it can. That's why low-similarity results are shown separately as "maybe".
Can I delete my face data?
Yes. "Delete my face data" on the Find Me screen removes your selfie signature and matches; everything is also deleted with the event.
